Task 7 - Evaluation

Unit 68 has been quite a struggle for me espescially because most of the tasks were rushed. Some things may still be incomplete also some of my plans had to change to get more work done in time. Having a go at creating a post apocalyptic environment has been intresting as well as hard for me as i was slowly failing to produce ideas towards the end of this year. With the help of my peers I slowly began to get back up and complete more work.
I chose the post apocalyptic city because i believed it was probably the most creative out of the options. After learning how to create cracks and wrecked buildings i began to duplicate and this made it much easier and more time efficient.
The skills i used and applied were from the past units so therefore using lightwave modeller had become easier, i was more fluent with its tools and controls.
After coming across many errors i seeked help from my peers and these problems were easily solved. The important part of this unit for me was to complete the model itself and that i have achieved.
Overall this whole project has been moderate, a mix of easy tasks and difficult tasks.
Towards the end i really rushed the work because the deadline had come too close. due to curcumstances i had missed a lot of work however i stayed dedicated and i wanted to complete the project.
If i could change anything i would take my time and be precisive also i would texture every building instead of a few.

Post Apcalyptic City

Definition:
Apocalyptic fiction is a sub-genre of science fiction that is concerned with the end of human civilization. This apocalypse is typically portrayed as being due to a potentially existential catastrophe such as nuclear warfare, pandemic, extra-terrestrial attack, impact event, cybernetic revolt, technological singularity, dysgenics, supernatural phenomena, divine judgement, runaway climate change, resource depletion, ecological collapse, or some other general disasters. Post-apocalyptic fiction is set in a world or civilization after such a disaster. The time frame may be immediately after the catastrophe, focusing on the travails or psychology of survivors, or considerably later, often including the theme that the existence of pre-catastrophe civilization has been forgotten (or mythologized). Post-apocalyptic stories often take place in a non-technological future world, or a world where only scattered elements of technology remain. There is a considerable degree of blurring between this form of science fiction and dystopian fiction.
